Catching and Pitching Camp Details
~Age Group: 6 – 12th graders
~Date: Sunday, November 10
~Time: 12:00-3:30

~Online registration: $125.
~All camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, and grade level)
~Camp registration is on a first come first serve basis. Enrollment will be cut off when maximum occupancy is met.
~Catcher’s camp will focus on the big three of catching kills: receiving, blocking and throwing. Emphasis of the day will include instruction on hip mobility, flexibility and strength, core strength, balance & stability, hand, wrist and forearm strength, vision training and more! Drills to develop skills leading to success will be practiced that can be taken home and refined over the next several months leading up to your spring season.
~Pitching camp will primarily be a mechanics seminar focusing on drills relating to many areas of emphasis: velocity training, weight training and core conditioning, bull pen and long toss routines, arm care, pickoff moves, pitchers fielding position and grips. Drills to develop skills leading to success will be practiced that can be taken home and refined over the next several months leading up to your spring season.
~What to Bring: Each participant must bring their own glove, bat, hat, helmet, running shoes/turfs/cleats, batting gloves, and baseball pants. Catchers must bring their own gear. Be sure to add your name to your items -the camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
~Wellness/Liability-related issues: There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer in attendance throughout the duration of camp. Potential medical issues would be the responsibility of the participant’s parent/guardian.
**A liability/medical form must be completed by parent/guardian as part of the online registration process in order to participate in the camp. Campers will not be able to participate without a completed form.
~Code of Conduct: Campers are expected to exhibit appropriate behaviors and positive sportsmanship at all times.
~Communications: After you complete your registration you will receive a confirmation email. A few days before the camp you will receive another email with more details and instructions about the camp. Please double check that your email address is correct in your Active Network Camp Account, as that will be our only method of communication with campers.
